My current position is largely administrative, functioning as division director of Academic General Pediatrics and as a clinical informaticist.  I am a clinical preceptor in the UAB Pediatric Primary Care Clinic and function as a supervising physician for Pediatric and Newborn Hospital Medicine services.  My scholarly interests are in effective screening strategies, quality improvement, and improving documentation and physician efficiency in the EHR.
