Overview
The planners will collate cases submitted by participants as well as cases seen at Children's of Alabama and will present them utilizing a web conferencing platform (Zoom). The format will be interactive with participants asking questions and participating in the presentations. Discussions of teaching points and relevant literature will be directed by activity planners. 


Objectives
Upon completion of this live activity, participants will be able to: 

  1. Recognize normal genital anatomy of male and female children and adolescent
  2. Recognize abnormal genital anatomy of both male and female children and adolescents
  3. Identify appropriate laboratory tests to perform in evaluating sexually abused children
  4. Describe the significance of sexually transmitted infections in potentially abused children
  5. Identify cutaneous signs of physical abuse
  6. Identify medical conditions which mimic sexual and/or physical abuse
