Overview
The goal of the project is to increase access to behavioral health services to children living in Alabama's rural, under served communities by equipping pediatricians to better care for patients with behavioral health conditions and to provide diagnosis and treatment earlier promoting better outcomes for those patients.

Objectives
Upon completion of this live activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize and diagnose patients with behavioral health conditions within their practice.
  2. Identify first-line treatments for a variety of behavioral health conditions in children/adolescents.
  3. Identify techniques for intervening with families of children with behavioral health conditions.
  4. Apply screening tools for behavioral health conditions and define how they can be utilized in clinical practice.
