Overview
This activity will help to provide primary care providers with evidence-based, up-to-date, best practices in regard to pediatric endocrinopathies.  This will also provide access to specialist advice through the presentation of de-identified cases to enhance learning.  This approach results in reduced healthcare costs and improved patient care.

Objectives
Upon completion of this live activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify ways to manage pediatric obesity and associated comorbidities.
  2. Distinguish between pre-diabetes, Type 1 diabetes and Type 2 diabetes.
  3. Discuss the comorbidities associated with diabetes and obesity and how to screen for them.
