Overview
There are a number of RSS that are on-going around the institution that seek to improve the knowledge base of practitioners in the field of pediatrics. However, none of the other RSS programs serve a broad-based, general pediatric population. 


Objectives

This lecture is part of Pediatric Medical Grand Rounds Regularly Scheduled Series; therefore our educational objectives are global in scope and apply to the 2022 series.  At least one of the listed objectives will apply to this lecture.  On occasion, a speaker may provide specific objectives listed on their slides which directly relate to the topic.


  1. Recognize and review diagnosis and current management options for a variety of illnesses related to the field of pediatrics
  2. Discuss research related to pediatric illnesses.
  3. Recognize and utilize new advances in technology and physician practice for the diagnosis, care, and treatment of the pediatric patient.
  4. Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to provide optimal outcomes for the pediatric patient.
  5. Discuss improvement methodology to provide quality care for the pediatric patient.
  6. Discuss the role of pediatric practice in education and advocacy.
