Overview

This activity is a recording of the Pediatric Grand Rounds series. Grand Rounds seeks to provide the most up-to-date continuing medical education to our target audience* in order to facilitate adoption and use of the best practice guidelines with current evidence based medicine for every patient and diagnosis. Additionally, Grand Rounds will provide the most current instruction to the residents in our teaching institution.

*The audience is the Children’s of Alabama & UAB medical and clinical staff in all pediatric sub-specialties, as well as local, state, regional and national pediatric practitioners who seek continuing education on pertinent subject material.

There are a number of RSS that are on-going around the institution that seek to improve the knowledge base of practitioners in the field of pediatrics. However, none of the other RSS programs serve a broad-based, general pediatric population.
